The following are current job descriptions for Momentum Services:
Outpatient Clinician
The Outpatient Clinician must hold a minimum of a:
· Master’s degree in a human services field
· 1 year experience, respectively, in the CASSP system
· Current (1 year) Act 33, 34 and 151 clearances
Duties include:
· Provide counseling to children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples
· Complete accurate clinical notes for client record maintenance
· Actively participate in clinical supervision with designated supervisor
· Actively participate in weekly clinical staff meetings
· Coordinate care with other supports or resources as utilized by consumers
· Maintain client records
· Document all pertinent life changes or circumstances that may effect treatment
· Complete initial assessments as necessary for each new consumers maintain communication with Director of Clinical Services, Director of Family Based Mental Health Services and Director of Behavior Health Director as necessary
· Co-facilitate group therapy
· Mandated Reporting which includes documenting and reporting to the Clinical Director, Executive Director and Childline the following: death of a client; suicide attempt; medication error; any event requiring the services of the fire department, or law enforcement agency; abuse or alleged abuse involving a client; any injury or illness (non-psychiatric) of a client requiring medical treatment more intensive than first aid; a client who is out of contact with staff for more than 24 hours without prior arrangement, or a client who is immediate jeopardy because he/she is missing for any period of time; any fire, disaster, flood, earthquake, tornado, explosion, or unusual occurrence that necessitates the temporary shelter in place or relocation of residents; seclusion or restraint; other incident identified by providers as critical, adverse, or unusual.

Family Based Mental Health Worker: A FBMHS worker must have a Bachelor’s degree in a human service field and two years of work experience with children and/or families.
Family Based Mental Health Professional: A FBMHS Professional must have a Master’s degree in a human service field and two years of work experience with children and/or families.
The FBMHS worker and FBMHS Professional work as a team to provide therapy to a children/youth and their families. These two therapists work with the family to stabilize the child(ren) by increasing the quality of relationships and functioning within the family system and community. As a team, the therapists provide: a comprehensive 30 day initial assessment, family therapy, child individual therapy, sibling therapy, parenting sessions/support, case management & assistance/advocacy within the community. These services are provided in the home, school and community. Each FBMHS therapist takes part in an on-call rotation. The on-call therapist provides crisis support for all the families in our FBMHS program as needed for a week at a time. Specialized training is provided & required. Training participants after meeting certain requirements can become certified by taking a state exam. FBMHS workers and professionals be willing to work a flex schedule. Positions are full time salaried with benefits. FBI, Childline and Criminal background checks are required.
Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC)
- Provides observation/assessment, treatment planning, and direction/supervision to the treatment team
- Ensures coordination of care
- Creates the treatment plan and is the Leading Clinician for assigned cases
- Supervises TSS is all aspects of their responsibilities
- Qualifications: licensed doctoral level psychologist, licensed clinical psychologist, or master's level clinician in a mental health field with documented experience in the use of behavior modification techniques; Child Abuse, Police, and FBI clearances
Mobile Therapist (MT)
- Provides direct therapy to children in their home and community settings
- Provides observation/assessment, treatment planning, and direction/supervision of the treatment team
- Ensures coordination of care
- Creates the treatment plan and is the Leading Clinician for assigned cases
- Supervises TSS in all aspects of their responsibilities
- Qualifications: licensed mental health professional or master's level clinician in a mental health field with, at least, 1 year experience in the CASSP system; Child Abuse, Police, and FBI clearances.
Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS)
- provide 1 on 1 therapeutic support to a child/adolescent in specified social, behavioral, or emotional areas of concern
- utilize the interventions documented in the treatment plan directly to the child/adolescent
- receive weekly supervision from the BSC/MT who is the Leading Clinician for the assigned case
- Qualifications: bachelor's degree in a mental health field, bachelor's degree in a non-mental health field with 1 year experience working with children, or an associate's degree/60 credits towards a bachelor's degree with 3 years experience working with children; licensed registered nurse with 1 year experience working with children; licensed practical nurse with 3 years experience working with children; Child Abuse, Police, and FBI clearances.
